First rate T V, Have had this for some months now and find it an easy to use system, very clear picture and clear sound. Very compatible with other equipment such as DVD player, and video recorder. Good connection outlets on the back and side. Also works well with the Sagem digital recorder, which lets us record two programs and watch a third through the TV. (not sure how but it does??) Also has an off button on the side so that it can be switched off to save energy ! Amazon were 1st rate on supply and delivery.

What a gem we ordered from amazon it was delivered in 2 days we pluged it in and we were away, after a quick tune we had all the freeview channels.We have a BT vision box and it was great because we didnt have to retune that it we ready to go. For the price a great TV picture quality is fab and amazon brill as always.

Really wnderful TV. Fantastic picture quality. Just plugged in my Virgin (Cable tv) box and Dvd via HDMI cables and no programmig needed it just saw them straight away. I have not used the freeview channels as I have cable TV but it all looks really easy to set up. Great control over how you can customise the colours etc on the tv. Throughly recommend this telly.

This is a replacement for a 40" Sony that went defective after 14 months. My initial reaction was that the Toshiba did not have the quality feel of the Sony; then again it cost a lot less than the Sony. The Sony instruction manual was barely adequate, but the Toshiba manual was even skimpier than the Sony one, and it does seem to be for a whole group of televisions not just the one I have.. The reviews that I have read report that the sound of the Toshiba is poor, but my eighty year old hearing could not determine whether this was true or not. What it did notice was that on three occasions in the first week, the sound became completely distorted - it sounded like the bass control had gone to max. and each of the speaker was outputting in a different language; the only solution was to switch off completely, rest a few seconds the restart. On one occasion part of the picture went into horizontal bars mode. Other wise the quality of the picture seems excellent.
The delivery from Amazon was as usual excellent and the after sales service second to none

I looked around at plenty of televisions and decided that I would stick with Toshiba as I have another tv of the same brand. This tv comes alive when my blu-ray player is connected to it, and the picture quality is sharp and crystal clear and the best you can get. The audio sound is of very good quality too and overall I am glad I've kept with the Toshiba brand and would definately buy another one.
This is the best you can buy and you won't be disapointed :)

This tv does exactly what it says on the tin. A perfect size for watching an a minimal amount of frame around the out side giving you a full picture. The set up and operation is simple and the picture quality very good and at a price you could not beat.

i love this tv.the resolution plus is an upscaler for digital tv(not sky just the freeveiw inbuilt) and it works the picture quality is such that my sky box is turned off at every opportunity because the freeveiw picture is so good! the sound also blew me away, i have a toshiba dvd and the sound from the films is almost 3d. try a blue ray player with thia tv and your going to get a surprise(a good one). oh and this one has an off switch! a real bug bear of mine with our previous toshiba tv. also the light adjster saves alot of electricity apparently so save the planet buy one!
